The Master Instructor is professional pianist and pedagogue Darlene Popkey, who has been instructing pianists for over 20 years.

• Darlene Popkey is a Canadian born virtuoso pianist who received her Masters degree in Piano Pedagogy and Performance from Westminster Choir College of Rider University in Princeton NJ. Ms Popkey's honors and awards are numerous and include ORMTA victories, the Sarah Hoover Bursary Award, the Francis Clark Endowment and the Performance Scholarship of Westminster Choir College.
  
  She has served on the Faculty of Westminster Conservatory in Princeton NJ for 10 years and presently teaches private instruction, piano and flute classes, college prep, music history, and adjudications via online sessions.
  
  Ms Popkey's performance experience is vast, and is not only limited to the piano, although this is her instrument of choice. They include solo piano performance, accompanying, choralensembles, flute performance, harpsichord performance, tenor saxophone performance, nativeAmericanflute performance, jazz performing, orchestral performances and chamber groups.
  
  For ten years she held the piano position and flute position with the TKC, Tim Keyes Consort of Princeton NJ, performing such recent works as Dvorak's Symphony No.9, Saint Saens Symphony No.3, Piano Concerto by Anton Scriabin, as well as new symphonic compositions composed by Tim Keyes himself- American Coastlines, Concerto for Piano. Her recordings with this group include Tim Keyes' chamber work for clarinet and piano 'Small Town', the piano concerto 'American Coastlines', a cello concerto 'Mighty Mississippi', oratorios 'Nativitas' and 'Requiem' all for API Records.
